Screeners update: Campaign DVDs shipped to Oscar voters

November 29, 2009 | 10:32 am

Oscar voters received lots of DVD screeners prior to the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. The breakdown below represents only the screeners sent to the full academy. Others are sent just to specific branches — such as "Trucker" DVDs shipped to actors.

Oscars DVDs District 9 Julie & Julia

Paramount will ship its top three contenders ("Up in the Air," "Star Trek," "The Lovely Bones") to voters on Dec. 8. Meantime, the studio sent "Star Trek" DVDs to all of the guilds (except DGA, which doesn't permit screener shipments) and journalists last week.

NOV. 25: "District 9," "Julie & Julia," "Pirate Radio," "Away We Go," "Taking Woodstock," "A Serious Man," "Coraline," "Up" and the animated feature "9"
