Over the past few days our forum moderators David "Guru" Schnelwar and Darrin "DoubleD" Dortch predicted who'll reap bids for best album and best record of the year when Grammy Award nominations are announced on Wednesday. Now they share views on the race to be declared best new artist.

Here, David and I dish via video. Below both Grammy prophets spell out their predix in more detail.

DOUBLED'S COMMENTARY: Zac Brown Band and Keri Hilson have had significant commercial success this year and nods here are very likely since they'll have the support of the country and R&B voting blocks. Owl City currently has the No. 1 single and are probably in too. The last two spots are complete crap shoots, though MGMT is finally having their breakout year, despite releasing an album in 2007. NARAS loves to play catch-up with artists who are "kind of new."
