Poll: Do you love or hate the Oscars' official new poster?
There's a lot of grumbling over the Oscars' new official poster. Some people confuse it with being a promo ad for the show since it depicts co-hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. The show's tag line — "You've Never Seen Oscar Like This" — is quite accurate. When was the last time that real people were depicted on the official poster — not counting stills from movie scenes? It's chummy and mildly amusing, but it doesn't have the dazzle or drama of many past popular ones. (See last year's ace poster here.) But maybe this radical new approach is a good one?
