INGLORIOUS BASTERDS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR AND TARANTINO IS LONG DESERVING OF AN OSCAR FOR BEST DIRECTOR since he was denied for pulp fiction over forrest gump. But this is his finest film ever. I loved the hurt locker, but it is inglorious basterds that has stayed with me long after i've seen it.
Please Academy -- consider Inglorious Basterds and give it a second look.

Having dinner with Tarantino means having dinner with Tarantino. It does mean all or most of these people are voting for IB for best picture, much less "rallying" for him. This town isn't divided by "gangs" who only associate with fellow members.
