Re Terry Gilliam's The Rum Diary, starring Johnny Depp as Hunter S. Thompson ...
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas did not win any award at the Cannes Film Festival, still less the Golden Palm. The Golden Palm that year went to Eternity and a Day.
