Tom Bergeron tattles on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Tom Bergeron Dancing with the stars

Just hours before Tuesday's finale of "Dancing with the Stars," host Tom Bergeron answered some of our toughest questions. Do romances ever occur behind the scenes? (Yes, he confesses -- they're called "showmances.") What was the most frantic moment ever on the show? Which celebrity would he like most to perform in the future?

Watch the video below to see those answers plus more. You can scroll through the chat box to see the questions he addressed from our posters.

Bergeron is a frequent Emmy nominee. He nabbed two bids for hosting "Dancing with the Stars" and two for producing the contender for best reality TV competition show. He cohosted the prime-time ceremony in 2008 with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Jeff Probst and Ryan Seacrest. In 2000, he won the Daytime Emmy for hosting "Hollywood Squares."

how does the voting work for tonight, since the judges are only rating the dances, are their totals added to last night with the votes of the fans and judges or is it started with 0. Meaning does last night voting from the fans and judges only determine the top two

The "beginner" dancers on "Dancing with the Stars" are supposed to be just that---beginners. It's obvious to anyone who has studied dance that one of the girl dancers has had extensive dance training and it's a tremendous advantage for her. She is no novice! Her excuse is: I've never done THIS KIND of dancing before." Please. You don't pick up dance moves like she uses over-night. This is unfair. It spoils the fun of watching beginners learn and excell which is ultimatly what the show WAS about. A video of this contestant, taken in dance class, was shown on "Stars" in a mini bio. The instructor even went so far as to say the lady was the best student she'd ever had. I think it's a shame that "Dancing with the Stars" has taken this faux pas. It's ruining the whole concept of the show.

Next year u need to get a different co-person...Brooke is terrible..should think about the last bacherlette (the one who did back stage info for you)? name--Brooke doesn't know what to ask people, stands ackward, just plain terrible

I would like to see the main characters of Lost on a future episode of Dancing With The Stars.
