Emmy battle for best miniseries: 'The Pacific' and ...?

While the Emmy eligibility period remains open until May 31, entries are still being submitted to the TV academy. We still don't know how many contenders will be in the race for best miniseries, thus we don't know how many nominees there will be. Definitely, the HBO miniseries "The Pacific," created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, will make the cut and is likely to win. Their "Band of Brothers" claimed this category in 2002. I believe "Emma" or "Return to Cranford" will be its toughest rival, but our forums moderator Robert "Rob L" Licuria (AwardsHeaven) disagrees, betting on "The Prisoner" as biggest potential threat.
