Enough about the cutesy poo comedies and cable-centric dramas-what about a little love for the two dramas who carry Tuesday and Thursday nights respectively-"NCIS" and "CSI-Crime Scene Investigation"? The always riveting Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo deserve special recognition this year for storylines that broke hearts and spirits, and the enthralling David McCallum and Pauley Perrette not only supported but stole several shows from their well-written leads. As for "CSI"-a second season under the belt of Laurence Fishburne only showed his understated gift for delving into the psyche of "Ray Langston", and he along with George Eads and Paul Guilfoyle deserve recognition for their unforgettable performances.
If either of these amazing procedurals are stepped over again, it means that only the millions of viewers who watch them every week see that they are worthy of an award-and not their so-called peers!
