When is the best time to ship a DVD screener to Oscar voters?

I was dishing with one of the top Oscar consultants Monday about successful DVD campaign strategies in the recent derby. Now that the winners are known, it's fascinating to look back at Gold Derby's calendar that recorded when the DVDs landed in the mailboxes of Oscar voters. (Note: This list just cites the screeners sent to all members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Some other screeners were sent just to specific branches.)
