I looked over the nomination list, and I'm counting 20 nominations for Glee. I know there are 3 categories that have double Glee nominations, but if each category only counts for one, then it should be 17 nominations, not 19. Can you explain it? Here are the nominations according to the official list:
1. Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series; Glee - Pilot, Director's Cut
2. Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series; Glee
3. Outstanding Costumes for a Series; Glee - The Power of Madonna
4. Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series; Glee - Pilot, Director's Cut (Ryan Murphy)
5. Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series; Glee - Wheels (Paris Barclay)
6. Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series; Glee - The Power of Madonna
7. Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series; Glee - Hairography
8. Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media - Fiction; Glee Hyperpromo and Superfan
9. Outstanding Make-Up for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic); Glee - The Power of Madonna
10. Outstanding Make-Up for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic); Glee - Theatricality
11. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series; Glee - Matthew Morrison
12. Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series; Glee - Lea Michele
13. Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series; Glee - Chris Colfer
14. Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series; Glee - Jane Lynch
15. Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series; Glee, Wheels - Mike O'Malley
16. Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series; Glee, Dream On - Neil Patrick Harris
17. Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series; Glee, The Rhodes Not Taken - Kristin Chenoweth
18. Outstanding Comedy Series; Glee
19. Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour); Glee - The Power of Madonna
20. Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series; Glee - The Pilot, Director's Cut

Thanks for the help!

"The Pacific" will go with "John Adams" as perhaps the finest series in the history of television. Simply brilliant work that will burnish in our memories for a long, long time

they should recognize what pink did at the grammy awards show. and go coco.

Glad to see that the Pacific Received the most nominations. By far it was well put together. Kudos to Tom Hanks and HBO for their well produced series.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....SNL has 12 nominations.......what a joke! The last few years has been terrible......if for writing, it shows a a joke the Emmys are...

So, so happy Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton were nominated for Best Dramatic Actor and Actress for Friday Night Lights. They give award worthy performances week after week on the most underrated show on television.

Also really happy Lily Tomlin and Martin Short were nominated for Damages. They were awesome.

Also happy Ann Margret got another Emmy nomination for Law & Order.
