Quiz: Which TV series won the most Emmys in a single year?

ANSWER: "The West Wing" won nine in 2000. "The West Wing" is also tied for second place with eight Emmy victories in 2001. That tally was tied by "ER" (1995) and "Hill Street Blues" (1981). "30 Rock" holds the record for most victories in one year by a comedy series: seven in 2008.
